FAMILY HISTORY:

My great-grandfather was one of the founding visionaries behind Denville Hall, which opened its doors in 1926 as a “Haven for elderly actors and actresses.” For nearly a century, Denville Hall has stood as a unique sanctuary for performers and members of the theatrical industry, offering care, camaraderie, and a place to call home in later life.

This connection to Denville Hall has always been an inspiration to me. It embodies the essence of what I love about our profession: a deep sense of community and the understanding that creativity and passion don’t have an expiration date. Even today, some residents remain working actors, coming and going as their careers demand, while enjoying a supportive environment that nurtures their health, happiness, and independence.

For over 20 years, I’ve been proud to carry forward this tradition in my own way as an actor. Being part of this world, I feel a profound connection to the legacy my great-grandfather helped build. Denville Hall reminds me of the incredible tapestry of talent that shapes our industry and the importance of supporting one another, on and off the stage.
